May 2017 Blog Planner Printables

Spring is a season for renewal and change, so it seems a fitting time to refocus and redirect The Artisan Life. When I first began blogging, I had no clear notion of what I was doing (or, honestly, even a foggy one!). Blog content has reflected this lack of direction – various post series have come and gone over the years, with the exception of one thing: crafting. Virtually every crafting tutorial I’ve shared over the years was either inspired by the natural world or has included natural/upcycled materials because I have always been deeply inspired by nature. I love the scents and sounds of nature – the way fresh dirt feels in my hands while gardening, the sound of water lapping against the shore or running along a stream, the smell of a forest. I have pages and pages of jotted down ideas for crafting posts, partially completed patterns for felt creations I want to share, and a list of crafting classes I’ve been meaning to film. That’s why I’m re-focusing The Artisan Life. If you’re a regular reader, you’ve probably already spotted a couple of differences. There will be more in the coming days and weeks and a few post series will be going away. It’s difficult because I know people like these series I’m discontinuing, but it will help me create a more cohesive message. Don’t worry, new things will take their places. The blog won’t become an endless litany of crafting tutorials – I have other fun posts planned, too, but they will all tie directly into the blog’s main message. So what does all of this have to do with the May 2017 blog planner printables???

May 2017 blog planner printables

Part of this blog re-focusing involves actually sitting down with my calendar for the rest of the year and really planning things out. In the past I’d rarely looked more than a week or two ahead. After spreading all my calendar pages out and grabbing various colored pens and highlighters, I was wondering why I’d never done it before! Planning posts far in advance is fun. Seriously. Because of my re-focusing exercises, my blog planner printables are even more important to me. If you’re not already using a blog scheduler, whether it’s print or digital, start now! I have the entire 2017 calendar, with post idea pages for notes, available here.

I also have the May 2017 stats tracker page available and ready to use!

However…because things are changing, the May 2017 blog planner printables are linked only in the Printables for Members area. Wellbeing Wednesday printables are one of the things I won’t be continuing moving forward, so I’m moving these blog scheduler pages to this members’ only area. If you’ve forgotten the password (it should be in your welcome email when you first enrolled in my newsletter!), please leave me a comment and I’ll email it to you again. If you are not a ‘member,’ just enroll using the box below this post!

Although change can be scary and difficult, I’m very excited about this re-focusing of The Artisan Life and I look forward to sharing many great, new things with you soon!

Have you ever conducted a major blog overhaul or re-focusing effort?

I spotted the new header straight away. It’s beautiful. I love the heart 🙂
Some of my posts I can plan way in advance, but some projects are subject to the weather! It’s great to re-focus. My blog has definitely changed since I started.

Thank you! I kept playing around with the photos until it felt just right. =)
I am also hampered by the weather sometimes. I’ve learned how to take photos when it’s grey out, but I just can’t do video if it’s cloudy or noisy outside.

It seems only natural that our Blogs will keep evolving as none of us can predict our own thoughts, intentions, or what will be a year from now or even a month from now.
So I look forward to your newest changes. Although I have a yearly datebook, and continually write dates in it, I always forget to look in it!!! Think I will definitely print one of your Planning sheets which I can keep posted on my fridge!

That sounds like my shopping list – made and then forget to bring it or look at it! I keep thinking about putting my calendar sheet on the fridge, but we try to avoid putting anything on our fridge so it usually ends up just floating around somewhere.
