Wellbeing Wednesday – Yesterday I Was Clever

Hello and welcome to another Wellbeing Wednesday! I hope the first full week of March is treating you well. I know it’s a busy time of year for many, so I also hope you’re finding at least a few moments of quiet for yourself each day!

Today’s printable is a lovely quotation from Rumi. In case you don’t know, Rumi was a 13th century poet, scholar, and mystic. His work is widely translated and popular across the world, and collections of his poetry have made best seller lists in the US in recent years. Pretty good trick for someone born 800 years ago! Without further ado, here’s today’s printable:

If this is your first Wellbeing Wednesday on The Artisan Life – all you need to do to download the high-res version of this printable is sign up for my once a week newsletter using the box below this post. 🙂

Like many of Rumi’s writings, I find this quotation simple, beautiful, and elegant. His works frequently expresses complex personal development concepts in lovely, understandable ways. He also wrote about diverse people being able to live in together in harmony, cooperation, and peace – maybe everyone today needs to read a bit more Rumi!

Very true – being aware of the mind, ego, thought process, etc. takes consistent practice. =)

    Gorgeous photo and quote!
I was gifted a beautiful book of poetry by Rumi about a decade ago.
Every so often I open a page and simply let the words sink in…
