So, I meant to have the free blog planner printables for August 2018 posted last Monday, but life got in the way. Friday a week ago, our household goods finally arrived. We spent all weekend trying to get things unpacked, which mostly just resulted in making an even bigger mess! It was impossible for us to get truly situated because we couldn’t take furniture upstairs yet due to some planned work on the house. Last Monday-Friday my mom had her upstairs floors replaced! It was a very long week for us, mostly spent hiding out in the garage. The noise and dust was way too much for our little boo! We’re still trying to deal with our household goods. Yikes!

The floor replacement project is also why I was unable to share the next installment in the Get to Know your Watercolors series on Thursday. I was hoping to film first thing Monday morning, but the floor guys were here before 8 and ready to get going! They were very hard workers who arrived early, didn’t even take an full hour for lunch, and moved their things out of the way each night. I’m sure the project would have taken even longer with a less diligent crew. Unless something unforeseen comes up, things should get back on track for this Thursday when I’ll be showing how to put your lovely transparent watercolors to work with glazing/layering. It’s going to be fun!

I can not believe it’s almost August. My suggestion for next years’ calendar is to include those cute llamas!
